Cebu Angkor Tour is owned and operated by Mr. Heng Seng Hok. Hok is a speaking English tour guide and professional tour operator in Siem Reap Angkor Cambodia.

Hok was born on 9th March 1977 during the Pol Pot regime in Siem Reap province Cambodia. In 1980, he and his family moved to Kampong Khleang where he grew up. During the civil war (1979-1998), he saw many indescribable things. He saw people killing each other and his village was the center of a stronghold fighting zone between the two governments. And some time he & his brothers & sisters did not get food to eat for a few days because of the fighting.

There was no school to go and study. He went to learn in Wat Sdei pagoda with Buddhist monks. He then moved to go and study at Sotr Nikum Primary School and then went on to study at Dam Dek High School. During his stay in Dam Dek small town, he was very young boy but worked harder. Some time He went out to carry off water from the earthen well at rice field at night time alone, he felt so scary but no choice. He worked hardly for the family that he lived with just to get stay and study, he has taken his own food.

In 1991, he got a greatest opportunity to move to Siem Reap city and stayed in Wat Preah Enkosei pagoda and he studied at Wat Preah Enkosa Junior High School until 1993. From 1993 to 1997 he studied at 10 January 1979 High School in Siem Reap city.

Unfortunately, on 29th July 1998, his father was killed by robbers inside dense forest. He spent four nights and five days with some of local government armies and policemen to find out his father’s body. For the next four years he lived at home and made money as a farmer and fisherman to support his family and sent his brothers and sisters to go to school and study. In 2002, he returned back to Siem Reap and worked as a taxi driver. In 2007, he then started work as a tour guide, although he wasn’t yet licensed. It was in 2013, that he was finally able to get his tour guide licenses for Siem reap and Phnom Penh Cambodia. He has been a qualified and professional English-speaking tour guide since that time.

He is now married with three children – one son and two daughters. His son is now 13 years old and his daughters are 10 and 7 years old. His wife takes excellent care of him and his children and they don’t know what they would do without her, she is a best mother and wife.
