Day 1
• Morning:
In the morning, we’ll come to pick you up from your hotel around 4:40am. You can ask your hotel to prepare you a breakfast box. We’ll then transfer you to Angkor Wat. After Angkor Wat, We’ll then head over to the South Gate of Angkor Thom. You can stop to take in the beautiful scenery of the manmade moat and the tower gate. The tour will then continue to Bayon and Ta Nei temple. Before lunch, we’ll then head to Ta Prohm which is the “Tomb Raider Temple”. We’ll then stop for lunch in a local restaurant.
• Afternoon: In the afternoon, we’ll go see Banteay Kdei temple which translates as “A Citadel of Chambers”. This 12th century temple is very complex which is where the name comes from. Finally, we’ll head over to Pre Rup where we’ll see the sunset before dropping you back to your hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap town.
Day 2
• Morning:
ToDay will start at 8 o’clock and we’ll drive out to see Phnom Kulen. Here you will get to visit the sacred waterfalls, the River of a Thousand Lingas and the largest reclining Buddha in Cambodia. We’ll then drive to Banteay Srei temple. This unique temple was made from pink sandstone and contains some very intricate carvings. To get a lunch break.
• Afternoon: In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Tonle Sap Lake where you can see the Kampong Phluk fishing community, fishing village with thousand stilted houses and flooded mangrove forest. Here, we will see the sunset before heading back to your hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap city.
Day 3
• Morning:
After breakfast we’ll come and pick you up to take you to Preah Vihear temple. This temple was one of the favourites of the Khmer kings and visitors to Cambodia love it too. This Cambodian temple sits on top of a 500m cliff and looks out onto Thailand. To get a lunch break.
• Afternoon: On the way back to Siem Reap, we’ll stop by Ta Mok’s house. He was one of the notorious leaders of the Khmer Rouge. After this, we’ll head back to your hotel in Siem Reap. Overnight in Siem Reap city.
Day 4
• Morning:
We will visit Koh Ker temple group which was a big former Angkorean Capital. There are more than a hundred temples in the site, but some of them are hidden in the forest. The famous temple is Prasat Thom, a 30m Pyramid-shaped temple which stand higher over the forest, providing an amazing of the surrounding areas. After that, we will have lunch at a local restaurant.
• Afternoon: After an amazing morning at Koh Ker temple, we will continue our trip back to Siem Reap. We will stop at Beng Mealea temple to explore the lost jewelry of Angkor. It is known as the sister of Angkor Wat because of the similar architecture foundation and style. The temple isn’t completely restore, so there are tons of blocks lying on the ground with vines and tree over the temple.
